Adaptation: Endeavor
provides a versatile turf ideally suited for tall fescue sod
production, sports turf, parks, golf course roughs, roadside turf,
residential lawns, and all professionally landscaped turf areas.
When mixed with 5-10% improved Kentucky bluegrass, such as
Midnight, Endeavor provides a strong all-purpose turf for all
areas of tall fescue adaptation.
Soil and Maintenance: Endeavor performs well in a wide
range of soil types with a pH of 5.5 to 8.0. Fertilizing at an
annual rate of 2- 3 lbs. of actual N
per 1,000 sq.ft. and mowing at 1.5" to 3" will assist in
maintaining healthy, vigorous turf. Ideally maintained with deep,
infrequent irrigation, Endeavor requires significantly less water
than both perennial ryegrass and Kentucky bluegrass.
Stand Establishment: Endeavor requires 10-14 days for
germination and 6-8 weeks for full coverage. A first mowing at 2"
should be done approximately 30 days after planting. Limited use
of the turf can be expected in about 6 weeks.
