Bonny Dunes is one of our most popular choices for shady areas in Northern Cool Season lawn areas.  Bonny Dunes retains the characteristics of its fine fescue components, and is adapted to low maintenance, shady areas in home lawns. Bonny Dunes requires minimal moisture and nitrogen applications to thrive. Bonny Dunes is cold tolerant and is best adapted from the transition zone northward.

The benefits of un-mowed areas such as hill sides and low areas difficult to mow. Bonny Dunes can easily be mowed at a height of 1 ½" and offers a dense and beautiful lawn. Bonny Dunes, when left unmowed for the season, produces a dense, waving stand that turns from green to purple to gold and adds height and color contrast.

Bonny Dunes has a medium establishment rate and germinates in 7-10 days.

Seeding Rates:
If Establishing a New Lawn: 4-5 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft.
If Overseeding Your Existing Lawn: 2-3 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft.
