distinct improvement over older Chewings fescue varieties. Tiffany characteristics:

Tiffany is useful as a monostand around trees, in home lawns,
and golf course extreme rough where wear and tear is not a factor
and shade may be more than normal.

Tiffany can be mixed with other fine fescues, creeping red, Discovery hard, and
turf type Sheeps for use in
golf course long roughs for the wavy dunes' look. When combined with one-third each perennial ryegrass and
Kentucky bluegrass, you have an all-around mixture useful for home
lawns, parks, and other areas where sun, shade, wear, and maintenance
economy are factors. |
Seeding and maintenance: Tiffany performs well in poor soils.
Irrigation is useful for establishment. Tiffany is drought
tolerant. Ideal soil pH is from 5.5 to 8.0. For low maintenance, 1
to 2 lbs. actual N per 1,000 sq. ft. per year is ample, 3 to 5
lbs. per 1,000 for high maintenance. After seeding, germination
will take place in about 7 to 15 days, depending on soil
temperatures, and the first mowing can be expected in about 30
days.

100% Tiffany or mixed with
other fine fescues:
Home lawns - 6 to 8 lbs. per 1000 sq. ft.
Parks, Golf course roughs - 250 lbs. / Acre..
When mixed 1/3 - 1/3 - 1/3 with Perennial Ryegrass &
Kentucky Bluegrass:
Home lawns: 5 lbs. per 1000 sq. ft.
Parks - Sod Farms - Industrial - Golf Roughs: 200-250 lbs. /
