MID-AMERICA SUPER SHADE is a mixture of elite quality turf grasses best suited for excellent turf in shady areas. Components include - It is our PREMIUM recommended mixture for HIGH SHADE areas.  If this one doesn't work... It's time to cut trim the trees!

A mixture of 4 varieties of turf type Bluegrass with 2 turf type Perennial Ryegrasses.

SEEDING RATES

Lawns, Greens and Tees:

     New:  3 - 5 lbs. / 1000 sq. ft
     Overseeding: 1 - 2 lbs / 1000 sq. ft

Roughs:

     New:  100 - 150 lbs per acre
     Overseeding:  50 - 100 lbs. per acre

• Germination begins in approximately 10 days. 
• Tees become playable in as little as 6 weeks.

CUTTING HEIGHT

Recommendations vary according to location and season.

•      Tees:  1/2" to 1"
•      Lawns & Fairways:  3/4" to 2 ``

FERTILIZATION

• Mid-America Super Shade responds to 1/2 lb. Nitrogen per application.
   
• Repeat applications only as grass shows need by fading color.
   
• 5 to 10 lbs. N per 1000 sq. ft. maximum per year.
