The dream of most homeowners:

watering. Enviro-Blend goes a long way
toward meeting that goal & dream. Enviro-Blend
is a blend of three or four different professional turf type tall
fescues which produce lower and slower growing
grass plants requiring less mowing, thus
generating fewer clippings. This lawn needs
less watering and irrigation after initial
establishment period than older varieties. If you
have shade problems in your lawn, consider
planting EnviroShade,
which includes some of the same Turf Type Tall
Fescues as EnviroBlend, along with fine fescues
for shade tolerance.

Enviroblend is a Blend of several Turf Type
Tall Fescues.

Containing 3-4 varieties
selected from the following:
Durana,
Penn 1901,
Forte',
Signia,
Oncue,
Virtue, Rebel
Sentry

and
Duster Tall Fescue
varieties*.

Percentages of each variety can range from 15%
to 40%

Note: Different package sizes may contain a
different blend of varieties.
*Other turf type
varieties or percentages may be substituted
Most mixtures currently contain Durana, Forte &
Signia.
Substitutions are
due to crop production or availability limitations at time of
packaging. - Some 50# EnviroBlend Fescue
packages may have 3 or 4 varieties blended. We
do attempt to keep the varieties included
updated as frequently as possible.
Occasionally other varieties may be
substitute varieties in these blends.
Mixture percentages are approximate.
These
varieties are moderately low growing, fine
textured and persistent under tough environmental
conditions. Enviro Blend has been a
top-performing blend and has shown good disease
resistance to brown patch, fusarium patch, and net
blotch. It has an average spring green-up time and
this far, test data has shown Enviro Blend
to be superior in color, leaf texture, and disease
resistance when tested against comparable
products.
