Areas Of Adaptation
Dense Shade Seed Mixture is best adapted to cool areas from the transition zone, north and in shady areas of the transition zone.
Establishment Of Dense Shade Mixture
New Lawn Areas: Plant 5-8 lbs per 1000 sq. ft. Overseeding: Plant 2-4 lbs per 1000 sq. ft.
Soil pH: Between 6.0 and 7.0
Planting Depth: 1/4"
Date: Plant in early spring or early fall.

Dense Shade Fescue mixture contains a blend of approximately 75% Tall Fescue grasses such as:
- Greystone
- Justice
- Virtue II
This Dense Shade Mixture also contains Fine Fescues such as:
- Razor Red Fescue
